Drinking a green smoothie is one of the best ways of getting enough greens daily. A green smoothie is fruit, ice water and greens combined. You can find articles on how to make green smoothies and green smoothie recipes in my profile.
As part of my morning breakfast, I make a green smoothie. After finishing my smoothie, I like to make a nice bowl or oatmeal. I prefer to cook it on low heat. Oatmeal is rich in protein and fiber. It also contains other minerals that can help with clear skin. You can make the perfect oatmeal bowl by adding nuts and seeds (hemp seeds, peanuts, etc.)
Ginormous Salate for Lunch
Another great way to get your greens is with a huge salad. These are my lunchtime meals 4-6 days per week. Add your favorite greens and any spring mix.
Salads allow you to eat more raw food, which is healthier than cooking. You can also get lots of antioxidants that will help prevent free radicals from causing damage to your body. There are many other health benefits you’ll be grateful for, too.
A daily diet of greens, vegetables and fruits will help reduce the severity and frequency of acne breakouts. You will get that natural glow you have been wanting. Your overall health will improve. Today, enjoy a green smoothie with a gigantic salad.
